Resources and information
Objectives of the webinar:
The webinar aims to provide an overview of the progress made since the establishment of the GSC Expert Group, including the development of a GSC Roadmap. The group wants to take the opportunity to showcase and discuss the Roadmap’s key elements with the broader GFC community and gather further input, namely:
- provide an overview of the need of Green and Sustainable Chemistry in the context of achieving the objectives of the GFC and introduce the work of the Green and Sustainable Chemistry Expert Group;
- present the emerging elements of the Green and Sustainable Chemistry Roadmap and invite feedback to help ensure that it reflects diverse regional and sectoral priorities; with a view to informing the further development of the roadmap;
- Pave the way for future discussions on practical opportunities for integrating Green and Sustainable Chemistry into existing workstreams, stakeholder activities and initiatives in the context of the GFC
The room for discussion and feedback within the interactive webinar will help identify practical approaches and examples that can inform the continued development of the Green and Sustainable Chemistry Roadmap and help shape the future work of the Expert Group.
Target Audience
The webinar is open to all stakeholders interested in Green and Sustainable Chemistry and the implementation of the Global Framework on Chemicals, including representatives from governments, international organisations, academia, industry, business, civil society, youth organisations, and other relevant partners.
