Objectives of the event:

The “Dialogue on Implementation Programmes” will present some of the technical tools, activities, and plans being developed under both IP1 and IP2 (such as workplans of industry sector programmes and thematic workstreams, progress reports on pilot projects, etc).

Approximately 1 hour will be devoted to IP1 and the remaining time to IP2. Speakers will:

• introduce supporting tools being developed;
• highlight thematic best practices for each sector;
• provide examples of how the thematic work is being integrated in the industry sector work; and
• explain how the existing and ongoing work in industry sectors supports GFC implementation.

The IPs contribute directly to theme 2 of the Conference: “Accelerating Action: Identifying practical solutions and scalable approaches to implement the Global Framework on Chemicals across high-impact sectors and value chains, from production and use to waste management”.

Who should attend?

All GFC stakeholders interested in the Implementation Programmes. The audience will have the chance to learn details of completed, on-going, or planned work; become familiar with technical tools developed or planned to support this work; and ask questions and indicate interest to become involved.
